- ERROR IN NVRAM, SERVICE ERROR NVRAM FULL
ALL HP LASER PRINTERS
1. Temporary error, Cycle power on and off.
2. Defective formatter board.

1. Remove EIO / Net
Work Card. It will be reset if not removed.
1. Perform NVRAM initialization by holding down the ( Reset ) button
for more than 20 seconds while power on the printer. 2.
If error persists replace the formatter board HP
LASER PRINTER 4, 4+, 4P ( 68 ERROR - ERROR IN NVRAM
) ( 68 SERVICE - NVRAM FULL) 4, 4+, 4P 1.
Remove EIO / Net Work Card. It will be reset if not removed.
1. Perform NVRAM
initialization by holding down the or ( ITEM ) button while power on
the printer.
2. If error persists replace
the formatter board.

1. Defective SIMMs. 2.
Replace memory SIMMs.

3. Still have problems replace
the formatter board.

Reinitialize the hard disk. 4.
Replace the hard disk. 5.
Replace the formatter board.
HP COLOR LASER PRINTER 8500, 8550 ERROR NVRAM SETTINGS CHANGED.
1. Indicates that a recoverable error has been detected in the NVRAM.
2. Do a cold reset. 3.
Replace the NVRAM DIMMS. 4.
Replace the formatter board.
HP COLOR LASER PRINTER 8500, 8550 ERROR NVRAM FULL SETTINGS LOST.
1. Indicates that the
NVRAM is full and the printer is unable to write new data. 2.
Do a cold reset.

1. Reseat the hard disk.
2. Reinitialize the hard disk.
